Background

Ryan Commons is a business attorney at Baker Manock & Jensen. Prior to his law career, Mr. Commons was a senior financial analyst at Prudential Capital Group in San Francisco providing over $750 million of private placements.

Mr. Commons represents businesses with general business planning and formation, contract negotiation, complex mergers and acquisitions, and financing.  Mr. Commons is experienced in analyzing and negotiating business and real property appraisals for buyouts, mergers and acquisitions, and eminent domain. He regularly assists business clients with on-going issues, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, sales and acquisitions of assets, succession planning, leases, and finance agreements. Mr. Commons is experienced in representing clients in CDFA ordered conciliations between cooperative bargaining associations and processors.

Mr. Commons serves on the board, Executive Committee, and Finance Committee of the San Joaquin River Parkway and Conservation Trust and the board of the Fresno Economic Development Corporation.

Mr. Commons received a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and graduated with high honors. He received his J.D. from Santa Clara University where he received the Witkin Award for Academic Excellence in Business Organizations.

Ryan is an avid photographer and videographer and enjoys backpacking and competing in trail races.
