Christopher L. Campbell

Mr. Campbell has been practicing law since 1984. His areas of practice are reclamation and water law, water transfers, agricultural finance (especially in relation to and secured by water and water rights), planning, zoning and development matters, including water supply for new development, CEQA, NEPA and Federal and state Endangered Species Act compliance. Mr. Campbell provides agricultural and water counsel to several institutional lenders. He has been involved in numerous large loan workout transactions and has assisted several financial institutions in packaging and marketing thousands of acres acquired in settlement of debt. Mr. Campbell is general counsel to Root Creek Water District.

Mr. Campbell is Chairman of the firm's Natural Resources, Financial Institutions, and Creditors Rights Practice Groups. Mr. Campbell is the Secretary and General Counsel of the Fresno Historical Society and was the Founding Vice Chairman of the Land Use & Environment Division of the Greater Fresno Area Chamber of Commerce (formerly Chairman of the Water, Environmental and Agriculture Issues Committee), and the founding Treasurer of the San Joaquin Chapter of the Groundwater Resources Association of California. He participates in the Fresno Ag Roundtable, and the San Joaquin Valley Ag Lenders Society. He is also a member of the Fresno County, California, and American Bar Associations. He was formerly chair of the Fresno County Delegation to the California State Bar Conference of Delegates.
