Charles K. Manock Attorney Charles Manock is a litigation partner with extensive complex litigation experience. He has tried many cases and represented clients in both federal and state courts. His experience is varied and includes cases related to packing houses, construction, construction defect, PACA, crop failures, financial planner and stock broker disputes, employment and all manner of business disputes. He has significant experience in agricultural-related litigation, including defending a multimillion dollar case involving the orange industry and representing a major raisin cooperative in an arbitration that set the prices of raisins for the entire United States raisin industry. He has also represented clients before the Court of International Trade and FINRA.
In addition, Mr. Manock represents and advises businesses and individuals in different industries on a variety of matters, including land purchase and use, employment, insurance coverage and corporate governance. He aggressively solves problems by utilizing the best and most practical solution at hand, whether that be through litigation or non-litigation means.
Mr. Manock is admitted to the United States Supreme Court and actively represented almond growers who were supporting the federal almond marketing order in Cal-Almond v. U.S. Department of Agriculture, 117 S.Ct. 2501 (1997), one of the original cases involving the First Amendment in the agricultural marketing order litigation. Education:
