Mr. Michael has practiced law since 1982. His practice areas are business litigation, agribusiness, health care law, intellectual property, and general business. His expertise in business litigation includes real property disputes, creditors' rights, foreclosures, contract, antitrust, and other competitive business cases and domain name disputes.

In addition, Mr. Michael assists agribusiness clients with lease disputes, crop damage issues, contracts, commission merchant matters, agricultural real estate transactions, agricultural financing, and agribusiness sales and acquisitions.

Mr. Michael also represents physicians and physician groups with competitive business practice actions, medical partnership dissolutions, investment disputes and administrative matters.

His intellectual property experience includes trademark and copyright registration, prosecution and licensing services. Mr. Michael also assists clients with the identification, protection and enforcement of trade secrets and confidential business information, confidentiality, unfair competition, and intellectual property litigation, such as trademark and copyright infringement.

He is an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and sits as a Judge Pro Tem for Fresno County Small Claims Court. Mr. Michael is a member of the Business Trial Lawyers Association, and the Fresno County, California, American, and Federal Bar Associations.
