Carl R. Refuerzo Attorney Mr. Refuerzo has practiced law for over 20 years in the areas of agribusiness, general business and corporate law, real estate, and reclamation and water law. He is the Chairman of the firm's Business Department. Mr. Refuerzo has significant expertise in the legal representation of agricultural clients, including agricultural entity planning and formation, agribusiness sales and acquisitions, agricultural financing, reclamation and water law, commission merchant and Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA) issues, and Federal farm programs. In addition, Mr. Refuerzo has extensive experience in the organization and management of business entities. He handles all entity planning and formation issues, including choice of form of doing business (e.g. corporation, partnership, limited partnership or limited liability company). He assists business clients with on-going issues, including sales and acquisitions of assets, leases, employment agreements, and stock options. Mr. Refuerzo regularly assists clients with the buying and selling of businesses, including acquisitions, mergers and reorganizations. He is a member of the American Agricultural Law Association, and the Fresno County, Los Angeles County, California, and American Bar Associations. Education:
