Summer Associate Program

Spend your 2L summer with Baker Manock & Jensen. You will receive interesting and challenging assignments in a wide variety of practice areas and work with attorneys who are experts in their fields. Our Summer Associate program is one of the firm's annual highlights because it gives us the opportunity to share all of the things that make our firm an excellent place to launch your legal career.

Our goal is to recruit well-rounded, bright students with a genuine long-term interest in the Fresno area. Our hope is that by the end of the summer you will have an accurate picture of what it means to practice law at our firm and within our community.

Our diversity of practice areas and industries served ensures that you will experience the many facets of an exciting and challenging legal career. Our training and mentoring programs are designed to provide you with the tools necessary to make the most of your summer experience.

Of course, life is not all work! We want to get to know each other on a social level as well. During your summer with us, there is no shortage of opportunities to get to know us, the other summer clerks, our city, and the surrounding area. The firm provides a wide variety of social gatherings to include our annual golf tournament, summer picnic, baseball games, and frequent lunches with the attorneys. You may also decide to join the firm's softball team, go on the annual camping trip, or participate in one of our "Team BMJ" volunteer events.
