Background

Mr. Forbes brings 40 years of legal experience in business and general civil litigation, both trial and appellate, regarding agricultural issues, real property, probate and trust dispute cases for the claimant and the defendant/insurer. His transactional work has focused on crafting farming leases. He has served as judge pro tem for the Fresno County Superior Court, most recently as a settlement conference officer. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator by private and court appointment.

The Fresno native worked as a Law & Motion research attorney for the Hon. Hollis G. Best at the Fresno County Superior Court before joining the firm of Helon & Manfredo in 1981 and BMJ in 2019.

Mr. Forbes has attained a BV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings.
